Alternative Fashion: A Men’s Style
Alternative Fashion Is a group of fashion choices that are constantly changing and unique. The style of dress in alternative fashion is participated mostly by a young group of people. Popular forms of alternative fashion include gothic, rockabilly, grunge and emotional. Emotional Fashion. Emotional fashion is actually rooted from rock music and becomes popular in 21st century. Emo Fashion is characterized by anything black outfit with tight jeans, high tops and shaggy hair cuts. Those who are tagged as “emo” usually portrays a shy yet angst type of personality. Gothic Fashion. Gothic used to be a popular element of man’s Fashion And Style. Like emotional fashion, gothic main’s theme is black but with occasional streaks of gray or white. Gothics wear black makeup with striking black lips. Shaggy hair in emo fashion, gothic has a long and straight hair. Goth Clothing is also clothed in by women. Gothics do not like being sunned and wears eerie and morbid Accessories. Gothic fashion must not be confused with tribal clothing style. Gothic is dark and gloomy in trend, while tribal clothing is inspired by the fashion of different cultures around the globe. Also, tribal patterns include touches of cream, fuchsia and emerald green. Animal prints such as zebra and leopard are also details of tribal clothing style. Rockabilly. Rockabilly is an amalgam of rock and roll and country music. It began in 1950s and the style depicts a playful vintage clothing. Styles of rockabilly include sailor costumes, polka dots, leopard patterns and pencil skits.
Men’s fashion and style
of rockabilly includes a bowling shirt and pressed slacks; while pearls and gloves are some of women’s rockabilly accessories. Nonetheless, rockabilly can be matched to other clothing styles such as gotabilly (goth + rockabilly) and psychobilly (punk + rockabilly). Grunge. Grunge is a man’s fashion and style punk-inspired outwear, although women are also into it. It began as an expression of rock music in United States. The most important part in Grunge Fashion and style is the jeans. The jeans are shredded, ripped and holed. Jeans are oftentimes bleached in grudge fashion to achieve a fabric fading; even socks are torn. The limelight of grudge fashion is the dirty look. People wear clothes in many layers and mismatch clothings. The more worn out a footwear and outwear is, the better it is in grunge fashion. Hairstyles too are messy and savage. Jewelries and hats are not underline in grudge fashion. Grudge fashion is evidently inexpensive.
