Will these boots actually support my ankles for riding or are they just for look?

I thought so but was hoping not cause they’re really cute lol any suggestions of what I should get? I’m not looking to spend too much money.
I ride western but I dont compete so it doesnt particularly matter to me what I’m wearing unless theres a reason for different boots for different classes. I guess I’m a bit of a noob when it comes to aparal

You can wear English paddock boots for Western riding, but you can’t wear Western boots for English riding (they position your foot wrong or something).
