Sexual Attraction – Fads and Fashions………?
Something I’ve always wondered about. For humans sexual attraction depends a lot on Fashion, i.e. Style of clothes, hair, etc., and the fashions we find attractive today are different from the fashions in the past. There are some fashions in the past which they found sexually attractive, but now we find completely unattractive. And these fashions can change over very short periods of time.
However in the animal kingdom the things that provide sexual attraction remain constant. A male lion always has a big bushy mane, or a peacock always has the same tail. These things are constant.
Why is this?

hair is certainly still a factor is sexuall attration and males hair is often referred to as a mane.
Of course we dont go around naked so the colurs and patterns of our clothes have to substitute for various physical features.
the obvious physical endowments of men and women are still accentuated in the designs of Clothing since clothing became an industry
